I hope everyone had a safe, happy, and blessed 4th of July, and for those that were off today, I hope your long weekend was great. I hope you enjoyed your time with family and friends, and took time out to reflect on what this holiday is all about, the celebration of our great nation's birthday...Happy Birthday, America! God bless the U.S.A. In honor of our nation's birthday, I thought it would be appropriate to post the beginning of the document that defines us a nation...The Preamble to the Constitution,  the words that are often considered the most famous phrase in American history as taken from the Constitution, & in closing the Pledge of Allegiance & the words of our National Anthem & God bless America! I know it's a day late, but I still feel the need to do it, so here goes!

We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America...

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. In honor of those who served, are serving, and will serve our great nation. Thank you for all you do, thank you for defending this beautiful homeland & for protecting us from enemies both foreign and domestic. You, the brave men and women of our Armed Forces, truly are the greatest heroes in the United States! Thank you & God bless y'all!

No matter what your political affiliation or political views are, we should all be united as we celebrate our nation's Independence. America is the greatest country in the world, and we are blessed to be a free nation, and be a nation of many different political, theological, and moral point of views. Happy 234th Birthday, America!
